Bitty and Beau’s Conceptual Project in Denver, CO

This project gave me new perspective on designing for inclusion and led to me picking a deeper design concept for my capstone project - Living Tree. Bitty and Beau’s is an already existing coffee shop chain with a very established brand. Part of this project was to transform an empty space in Downtown Denver into a welcoming coffee shop, while maintaining Bitty and Beau’s brand and morals. If you don’t know, Bitty & Beau’s Coffee is run by people with special needs and mental disabilities. When designing this space I continually made reference to the Autism ASPECTSS design guidelines.
